Fiber Optic Power Meter Supports Auto-Wavelength Recognition

(www.GAOTek.com) has released an advanced fiber optic power meter offering three modulated signal frequencies including 270Hz, 1kHz and 2kHz.The fiber power meter provides an auto-wavelength recognition function to save test time and decrease potential errors.It tests optical power within the wavelength range of 800 to 1600nm.The rugged design,auto power-off and superior power source stability bring great convenience.
GAO Tek Inc.'s fiber optic power meter, model 560,conducts absolute and reference tests and offers an excellent power testing range of -70dBm to 10dBm. Its moveable connector allows for several types of connections including FC and SC.The handheld, fiber optic power meter can be used in conjunction with different optical devices such as an optical light sources (OLS) or a visual fault locators (VFL) to allow optical network professionals to test their fibers at different wavelengths at the same time.
