In Australia we go digital TV subsequent year. I am in a block of unit. Will the distribution amp need replacing? It's almost 20-30 years old What just about the antenna - it doesn't look in awfully good condition. Lastly, we enjoy 300 ohm coax running to the units and it have started to degrade - presumably this wishes replacing. Can an Aussie installer give a rough estimate of cost. It is an 8 section, 2 story block in teh inner west. Concrete construction.

I live in the Maryland suburbs of DC. I purely set up my Zenith digital-to-analog box. I get surrounded by many of like stations as before. In some cases, I enjoy more (three or four of one network). In other cases, I've lost all fringe stations that I used to get hold of with mediocre pictures (two DC nouns stations with fragile signals and all Baltimore stations). For the stations that are traditional, I assume that I still need to set up the rabbit ears contained by directions that pick up the signal. The stations do not all come within using one position for my rabbit ears. Assuming that moving around the rabbit ears is necessary to acquire reception when I change stations (to avoid the "no signal" screen), is in that any way to remember how to set up the ears for respectively station/network? I could keep a notebook next to appropriate rabbit ear drawings for each lattice, but is there an easier instrument? Thanks for any suggestions.

I was hoping to buy a Combi TV that have capabilities such as playing DVDs etc. but required to know if it is true that if one function refuses to work the rest won't any i.e. if the DVD Player fails it renders the entire TV inoperable or have some sort of detrimental effect. I have a Toshiba 62 1080 that seem to be to have an extremely murky picture especially when watching a dvd.I dont know what the contrast ratio is but is that maybe the issue?The contrast is adjectives the way up and it is a great picture lately a tad to dark.Ofcourse Ive in tune the brightness but that doesnt affect the dark section of the picture.Its a Toshiba mx195, Poor choice on my part?I dont hold hdmi hooked up yet and dont guess that will solve this issue unless someone tells me otherwise.I guess I stole the Tv at 1800.00 2 years ago but maybe I get screwed.

We are getting an addition to our home and it will be a theater. But, the ? is 73" DLP limerick a 58" Plasma. I just bought a 23" LCD tv beside HDMI and VGA input ports as well as Component, Signal video and regular Composite audio/video. The tv is advertise as HDTV ready and it even say HDTV ready on the box, and the user's encyclopaedia specifies that it is a Liquid Crystal Display. It has no tv tuner - so it's more resembling a monitor- but for $300 it seemed a large amount. The problem is that my brother has a 19" LCD tv that is to say not HDTV ready, it's EDTV and have no HDMI or VGA inputs, but the resolution from my PS3 seemed to display sharper and crisper on his than on the one I freshly bought. My PS3 output is set to 1080i. I am using a component video cable for the PS3, so is it possible that my new tv can just display in high-def (1080i) by acceptance the signal from and HDMI cable?
