HDMI Extender: Extends a HDTV Connection up to 100 Meters
The HDMI Extender operating over fiber breaks the limitation of HDMI cable transmission. Consisting of a transmitter and receiver, this device allows HDMI to be sent at distances up to 100 meters. HDMI cables are used to connect the sender and receiver units to source and display respectively. It delivers signals without any degradation in picture quality supporting single-link PC resolutions up to 1600x1200 and 1920x1200 as well as HDTV resolutions up to 1080p at 60Hz. The DDC and CEC signals are transmitted by copper line. This device has the capacity to carry uncompressed digital video and audio signals at high speeds.
The plug-and-play installation feature of the HDMI Fiber Extender makes it easier to extend HDMI to another room without running multiple wires from source components to a display device. This reduces cost of multiple cables and is a long term investment offering a higher ROI. Compact in size, this extender is compatible with HDMI standard 1.3 and is also HDCP compliant. It is also equipped with regulatory approvals from FCC and CE. Based on a unique optical conversion technology, this device enables noise-free extension of signals. These devices are available in a 4 strand multi mode LC fiber optic cable version with built in fiber optics components.
The HDMI Fiber Optic Extender has the ability to switch to auto power save mode when the source device is powered off. They have an Operating Temperature Range of 32F to 122F and a storage temperature range of 4F to 158F. These extenders can be used with Plasma TV’s, Digital Projectors, LCD Monitors, HDTV, etc. This device is ideal for applications that require the extension of HD signals over long distances. They are used in indoor and outdoor display systems, broadcast systems, kiosk systems, information systems, digital signage networks, home theaters, medical industry, auditoriums, aerospace, military and conference room’s applications.
